The MS1200 is an on-line Oil in Water monitor which provides low level measurements of Hydrocarbon, Oil and VOCs concentrations in water.
Monitor water abstraction points such as raw river water, boreholes and reservoir water
Detect VOC contamination in industrial wastewater
Monitor drain and stormwater systems for flammable liquids
Surface water systems for fuel pollution
Offers a monitoring solution for air, land remediation and industrial applications
Detect VOC breakthrough in carbon beds
The MS1200 operates at very low concentrations of VOCs, hydrocarbons and oils in water, with a measurement range ranging from 5 to 3000 ppb. This level of sensitivity means it is ideal for monitoring water at abstraction points (i.e., rivers, wells) and gives an alarm if a contamination event occurs. This in turn allows operators to respond to pollution in a timely manner and avoid costly replacements and shutdowns.
The MS1200 uses a non-contact measurement technique based on Henry's law, sensitive gases or volatile gases in the sampling tank and provides a measurement system with very low maintenance requirements. Thanks to smart design and technology, the sensor never touches water. This makes reduced drift, almost no pollution and very little maintenance possible.
The MS1200 is accurate down to low ppb concentrations, and the wide dynamic range allows it to be used in a wide range of environments.
The instrument is housed in a robust steel case and is powered by 90 - 240V AC or 24V DC.
Various communication options are available, including 4 - 20mA, Profibus and Modbus.
This monitor is also available as a standalone unit without a sampling system.
An ATEX compatible version of this system is available on request. For more information, download the MS1200-SIS oil-in-water data sheet.
