The MS2000 is a Total Trihalomethane on-line monitor which provides measurements of THMs at low concentrations in water.
Regulations limiting the levels of Disinfection By-Products (DBPs) such as Trihalomenthanes (THMs) in drinking water have made the ability to measure DBP levels throughout the distribution network essential. Multisensor’s THM monitor provides that facility, efficiently and accurately.
Measuring Total THMs with a high accuracy, the MS2000 provides the confidence that is needed in a process control instrument which is vital in meeting regulatory and legal requirements.
The MS2000 uses a non-contact measurement technique based on Henry's law, sensing gaseous or cooling gases in the sampling tank and provides a measurement system with very low maintenance requirements.
Thanks to smart design and technology, the sensor never touches water. This allows for reduced drift, almost no pollution and very little maintenance. The MS2000 is accurate down to low ppb concentrations and its wide dynamic range allows it to be used in a wide range of environments.
Controlling and monitoring optionsThe MS2000-SIS is housed in a small housing and requires no additional chemical reagents for operation.
The system includes a measuring instrument and a system for the presentation of samples, in order to enable simple installation of the device in existing plants.
Various communication options can be provided, including 4-20mA loop, Wireless, Modbus and Profibus.
Sensors can detect Total Trihalomethanes or TTHMs, including chloroform, bromoform, bromodichloromethane and dibromochloromethane.
